If you're looking for support in using the law to protect you, your family, and/or protect and grow your small business then you've come to the right place. I'm Debra Garcia, a California Estate Planning attorney and counselor-at-law based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I serve individuals, couples, families, and small business owners. Schedule a consultation using my online calendar or call me at (510) 495-0445. I look forward to connecting with you.
Wills, trusts, Durable Powers of Attorney, Advanced Health Care Directives, Living Wills, guardianships, etc. All of these terms are part of Estate Planning. But this term can be misleading. Maybe you think you don't have an "estate" that's worth the trouble of planning. Maybe you think this is only for "old" people, or "rich" people, or dying people, or just for someone else!
I prefer to think of this area as "life planning." Life planning helps ensure that your wishes are carried out not only after death, but in the event that you become incapcitated and cannot make health care or financial decisions for yourself, or if you are a caregiver or a parent, for your loved ones.

Are you a solopreneur or small business owner interested in growing and protecting your business? I'd love to support you.
I serve entrepreneurs throughout California (including life coaches, hypnotherapists, change-makers, speakers, healers, artists, webmasters, online business owners, etc.) who are working to make a positive difference in the world.
I’m guessing you’d rather focus on bringing your gifts, your talents, and your work to the world, and would rather not have to bother with all the legal, financial, and tax needs. And you may not even know what all your needs are! That’s where I can help you.
